Politics again

Thinking about politics again (eh). Some things caught my eye…

In the June 27, 2024 presidential debate, President Biden was criticized for the ongoing war, and Presidential candidate Trump called Biden a “Palestinian.”

On October 26, 2024, a week before the US election, Prime Minister Netanyahu attacked Iran.

On Tuesday, Nov 5, 2024, Trump was elected.

December 2, 2024, Trump warned, “all Hell to pay,” if the hostages were not returned.

January 19, 2025, 3 hostages were returned

January 20, 2025, Trump was inaugurated

January 25, 2025, 4 hostages were returned.

On June 9, 2025, Trump deployed the US marines in California.

The No Kings protest was planned for June 14, 2025.

On June 13, 2025, Netanyahu bombed Iran.

On June 22, 2025, Trump bombed Iran.

The second No Kings day protest was planned in advance for October 18, 2025.

On October 13, 2025, the remaining 20 hostages were returned.

Interesting timing—it almost seems like things in the Middle East have been coordinated for political gain.  Could be coincidence. Either way, by taking sides, politicians are using the Middle East conflict to divide US voters.

Many politicians, democrat and republican, and news organizations, are trying to divide voters.

Government should be about what unites us.
